Martina wants to inspire: “Never give up!”
WILLEMSTAD - There are athletes who after missing an Olympic medal burst into tears or scold the whole lot together. Sprinter Churandy Martina is a contrast he will always smile and stay positive.

The Curaçao-born is able to still smile with his fifth place in his third Olympic final in a row in this section. “I hope I can inspire people with this. Never give up, keep going, I would say to everyone,” Martina said after his race on his own website.
