MRI scanner at SEHOS operational again in the coming week
WILLEMSTAD - A team of experts from Miami and Chile is currently working on the MRI scan of the St. Elisabeth Hospital (SEHOS), which was defect due to a leakage.
A spokeswoman for the hospital announced that the machine will be operational again next week. Patients will not have to travel to Sint Maarten or Colombia for a diagnosis anymore.
The machine, which is a bit on the old side, but can be repaired, is mainly used for scanning brains and vertebrae.
