Negotiation pension nurses stalls
WILLEMSTAD – The negotiations between the unions representing the nurses employed at the St. Elisabeth Hospital (SEHOS) and the management of the hospital have stalled. This is according to the trade union CBV during an interview with the media.
The negotiations were on the pension of these nurses.
Earlier, there still seemed to be an agreement in principle but that's now off the table. CBV wants the age at which nurses will adapt to retire at 65 years.
That is the age adopted by the government, but the hospital says that nursing staff should retire when they turn 60.
