New Navy ship tomorrow in St. Anna Bay

D150619EK1271WILLEMSTAD - The newest and largest ship of the Royal Navy, the Zr.Ms. Karel Doorman, brings tomorrow at 10.00 a port visit to Curaçao. The ship will be moored at the Brion wharf and on Friday will be transferred the Mega Pier. The Navy ship is tested at a high humidity and temperature.

The Zr.Ms. Karel Doorman was built to provide other ships of stock at sea. The huge ship can carry much, namely equipment, vehicles and vessels.

Van Amstel

Early this month, the Zr.Ms. Van Amstel was welcomed on our island. The ceremony was conducted by the Governor and the Commander of the Naval Forces in the Caribbean.
