Overwhelming interest local companies in construction new hospital
WILLEMSTAD - More than one hundred representatives of local companies responded to the call of the government of Curacao, represented by Prime Minister Asjes and Minister of Public Health, Whiteman and the Chamber of Commerce, through Chairman Billy Jonckheer, to discuss progress and the involvement in the construction of the new hospital in Otrabanda.
The interest was larger than expected, and there appears to be a great need for more information.
From the packed hall where dozens, sometimes skeptical questions asked to the ministers, and Usona director Reginaldo Doran. Project leader Theo Jansen was also there to answer after a short speech by Karst IJtsma, representing the construction company Ballast Nedam.
