Politur in Sambil
WILLEMSTAD - The tourist police will monitor the safety of tourists visiting Sambil. Last week one of Politur’s office was opened in the new shopping mall in Veeris.
“In October Sambil expects to receive many cruise tourists,” said Humphrey Josefa, president of Politur.
“But we are out there to keep in mind the safety of all tourists.”
The office starts with four police officers and will work closely with the police station at the WTC in Piscadera.
Politur also has a post at the Boulevard / Mambo Beach, and in the old police station in West Point. The officers patrol on foot, on bicycles, quads and cars.
