Press release: Uniting for Children

Caribbean ChildrenWILLEMSTAD - The United Nations universal Children’s Day is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote the international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children’s welfare.

To mark this celebration, the Uniting for Children Foundation (UFC) in close co-operation with the University of Curaçao (UoC) will be hosting a seminar on “Digital Addiction in Children and Adolescents”. UFC is proud to welcome two guest speakers for this event. Firstly, there is Tanya Goodin, (from the United Kingdom), who is a digital entrepreneur and author of “Off” and “Stop Staring at the Screens”. In addition, Naomi Cyntje-Rogers, a local psychologist from Fundashon Maneho di Adikshon (FMA) will present a local context regarding digital addiction.

The seminar will be held on Tuesday, 20 November at UoC in the Conference Hall Q1-04. Guests are invited for 15:30 and the seminar will start at 16:00 sharp.
