Radiologist Taams clinic suspended for negligence

TaamsWILLEMSTAD - A radiologist employed at the Taams clinic was suspended for six months. This is according to the Dutch news site Persbureau Curacao. He is held responsible for negligence.

Due to this radiologist’s negligence a 61-year-old patient passed away in June 2010. The Medical Disciplinary Board alleges that the radiologist wanted to cover up his actions. The reporting of the surgery and the complications that occurred were not complete. The patient went into cardiac arrest and died a day later. The family of the victim demands compensation through the civil courts.
