RBC FX Trading & Commercial Banking – continues to help clients prosper and thrive here in Curacao
WILLEMSTAD - Due to a number of factors, many local companies have seen their revenues and margins decrease over the last decade. As a result, these companies have focused on cost cutting measures such as reductions in personnel and sales expenses, and a move away from making sponsorships and donations in order to sustain their profitability.
Recognizing an opportunity to provide advice to local businesses who deal in multiple currencies, RBC hosted an advice seminar focused on foreign exchange trading. Hariza Hansen and Gunnar Curiel, RBC Business Banking Relationship Managers, in partnership with Ajay Surjbalisingh, Regional Manager, Foreign Exchange Trading organized a seminar.
The seminar illustrated to the attendees how they could better achieve their business objectives through more effective use of foreign exchange and other products and services offered by RBC in Curacao. Due to the overwhelming interest, the RBC team engaged in a number of impromptu one-on-one sessions with the attendees.
Commenting on the event Russell Kopke, Area Vice President Business Banking said, “Our team is focused only on Curacao which allows our colleagues to service Curacao business clients directly, which in turn allows local communities to thrive and prosper.”
