Sea turtles on the North Coast are infected

WILLEMSTAD - Sea turtles on the north coast are infected with a herpes virus that causes tumors. Half of the 59 animals tested were infected.
The virus is worldwide but has now been discovered for the first time on Curaçao.

The Sea Turtle Conservation Curaçao is concerned because the infected population has grown rapidly in a short time.
