“Smart Nation: Curaçao objectives beyond 2020”
In celebration of its 20th anniversary as the multi-sector regulator of Curaçao, Bureau Telecommunicatie en Post will be hosting the conference: "Smart Nation: Curaçao objectives beyond 2020"
WILLEMSTAD - Following the lead of Singapore, Bureau Telecommunicatie en Post has taken the initiative to explore and formulate a course of action which could enable Curaçao to harness and utilize the latest technology in order to achieve the goals of improving the lives of citizens and creating better economic opportunities for our nation.
A Smart Nation means: people and businesses are empowered through increased access to high quality infrastructures and data to contribute to a smart digital economy. The Government can also participate and contribute in the development of a Smart Nation by utilizing technology to better serve its citizens.
For two days international and local speakers will share their perspectives on how technologies and data, when used in a smart way, enable us to work and to live smarter. There will be panel discussions deliberating the views and opinions of leading experts in which participants are encouraged to actively take part and ask questions in the hopes of opening up minds to new ideas.
We cordially extend this personal invitation to you to participate in this premier event which brings together experts, professionals and enthusiasts to brainstorm, speak and share their concepts and ideas in the anticipation of establishing Curaçao as a Smart Nation with objectives and vision set beyond 2020.
