SMOC: ‘Sulfur dioxide emissions Isla again too much’
WILLEMSTAD - The Isla has again exceeded the standards for emissions. A measurement in the vicinity of Beth Chaim and Cash Chikitu shows that the so-called WHO standard for sulfur dioxide has heavily exceeded the previous month. This is according to a reported from environmental organization SMOC.
"The excess of this standard is in line with citizens' complaints that we have received about the smoke," said SMOC Foundation.
