Summber Bliss will be shredded
WILLEMSTAD - The controversial boat Summer Bliss will disappear into the shredder. This is according to the Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA). The ship has already been in the Anna Bay since November 2012. In that month it was robbed of the gold that was on board.
70 gold bars worth more than 20 million guilders were robbed. The ship is registered in British Guiana, but the owner is not responding to requests to come take his boat.
Also other boats are cleaned up. The Bounty, which is located in the Spanish waters, is now completely useless.
Both ships pose a danger to the environment and shipping and are therefore destroyed.
