The Netherlands will fully fund the new hospital

New hospitalWILLEMSTAD – The Netherlands is ready to lend Curacao the full funds needed to build the new hospital in Otrabanda. This was informed by the Central Bank of Curacao and Sint Maarten (CBCS).

The CBCS has issued bonds with a value of 250 million guilders. It’s a loan that will have to be repaid in thirty years at very low interest rates.

The construction of the hospital will last about three years and will be done by the Dutch construction company Ballast Nedam. The new hospital will be in Otrabanda adjacent to where the current hospital is located.
