Trade union: ‘Trainer” Paul de Geus (UTS) has to resign

Errol-CovaWILLEMSTAD - If a trainer of a football club fails, the trainer must step down and make place for someone else. That should happen in the case of the UTS trainer, Paul de Geus. This is according to Errol Cova, who was asked to support UTS trade union Sitcom. The Geus is the director of the telecommunication company.

Early this week, it became known that UTS is forced to lay off 280 employees. The employees will be asked to leave voluntarily. If the employees do not make use of this offer, then the company will be forced to lay off by the end of January 2018.

According to Cova, the management itself must resign. They will not accept this. The union's members are coming together to discuss what their next step will be.
