U.S. Consul General attends signing MoU between Curaçao and Wayne State College

MoU_Wayne_StateWILLEMSTAD - On June 26, U.S. Consul General Margaret D. Hawthorne attended the signing ceremony of an important Memorandum of Understating at the Curacao Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.

Curacao’s Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Minister Mrs. Drs. Marilyn Alcalá-Wallé and President of Wayne State College Mrs. Dr. M. Rames signed an in-state-tuition agreement for Curacaoans who want to study at Wayne State College in Nebraska.

“This is a great opportunity for Curacao students and hopefully more students from Curacao will get the opportunity to study in the U.S,” Consul General Hawthorne said.

“The purpose of signing this agreement is creating new possibilities for high-quality education combined with affordable tuition costs for our students,” Minister Alcalá-Wallé said.
