UNESCO, Bob Hofman gives lecture on Peer Scholar and Learning Circles

UNESCOWILLEMSTAD – In the framework of the UNESCO-funded ICT & Education Conference, Mr. Bob Hofman will give a number of lectures and workshops. These lectures will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 14:30 to 17:00 in the Inter-Continental University of the Caribbean (ICUC) in Otrobanda (Old St Martinus building). Learning Circles

A Learning Circle is a temporary learning community in which students and teachers work together and learn together. There are different schools participating, which normally would not easily get in touch with one another. Schools from different countries or regions will learn from their differences and similarities. Schools in Curaçao participated several times already in Learning Circles.

Peer Scholar is a system developed by the University of Toronto, scientifically innovative tool that allows teachers to get the best out of students. Peer Scholar supports students in their personal development, creative thinking, critical thinking, collaborative learning and communicating effectively.
