Venezuelan Consulate reports media terrorism
WILLEMSTAD – In a press release emitted recently, the Venezuelan Consulate in Curaçao stated that the news media is spreading false rumors about Venezuelans who travel from their country and are not allowed to return.
This clarification from Venezuelan officials in Curaçao came after the Spanish-language media Area Saludable recently reported that Venezuelans who travel abroad are denied return to their country until January 2017. This is to prevent them from selling dollars on the black market.
Other medias also took over the news. But according tot he Consulate this is absolutely not true and these media have bad intentions towards Venezuela.
“They have the objective to cause internal conflicts in Venezuela and also international confrontations,” said the Consulate General in their press release. “This is a form of media terrorism.”
