Water and electricity more expensive

AqualectraWILLEMSTAD - Water and electricity are now more expensive. Electricity per kilowatt hour is 6 cents higher in price – as per November 1 - last Saturday. The rate is now almost 63 cents per kilowatt hour.

A cubic meter of water is 37 cents higher in price. Up to 9 cubic meters one pays eight guilders and 11 cents. Those who use a lot of water, will be paying considerably more. The rate of twenty cubic meters of water or more is 17 guilders and 17 cents.

The Government and Aqualectra did not give any information about these new prices. It was clear, as we had reported last week, that the fuel prices will drop slightly, while propane gas price remained the same.
