Wiels: No PS in government means trouble

WILLEMSTAD - If a new government is formed in which Pueblo Soberano (PS), the winner of the elections held on October 19, 2012, is left outside; this will mean chaos and tumult. This, Helmin Wiels, leader of the political party Pueblo Soberano, declared to the morning newspaper Antilliaans Dagblad.

This was his respond to the rumors that there were talks going on between the various other parties which during the elections got one or more seats. “For them to come up with a government in which Soberano does not form part of is inconceivable for our supporters. They have uttered their voice and massively voted for Pueblo Soberano, but all possibilities exist”, said Wiels.

This is politics. Within politics you have to deal with many deals under the table. So a government where PS, the winner of the elections, is excluded is certainly possible. However, if that is the fact, the Pueblo Soberano will continue to grow. We know how to sell our concepts and ideals. We are not bound by party financiers that want to see their support being solvered after the election. “Pueblo Soberano ows nothing to anyone.”
