WTC and Aqualectra meet together
WILLEMSTAD – The management of the Curaçao World Trade Center will meet with the utility company Aqualectra next week. Both parties will then negotiate the debt the WTC has with the utility company. This is according to the WTC’s legal representative, Bertie Braam. According to Braam, WTC does recognize that there is a delay in the payment of 3.4 million guilders for used electricity and water.
According to Aqualectra that debt is higher than 10 million, but the WTC denies this emphatically. WTC also denies that has they have been tampering with the electricity and water meter, as Aqualectra claims. The parties will therefore try to find a solution to the conflict next week.
