Acoya2WILLEMSTAD - On November 26, 2014, ACOYA Hotel, Suites & Villas, the highly awaited new luxury resort in Curacao, celebrated its glamorous Grand Opening. The event which took place on ACOYA’s Grande Terrace was officiated by the Minister of Tourism Mr. Stanley Palm with special guests, the LA Dodgers pitcher, Mr. Kenley Jansen and Mr. Hensley Meulens, San Francisco Giants, World Series winning hitting coach! The highly buzzed about event was attended by prominent members of the local government, local consul generals, and the who’s who of Curacao’s elite business community. As guests sipped onAcoya3 champagne and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres catered by Curacao’s favorite chef, Michael de Leur of restaurant “Seasons” at ACOYA, they enjoyed a warm welcome and toast by General Manager, ms. Valerie Trenidad.  It was an evening to remember.
