Asjes: ‘No time for ridiculous proposals Bosman’

Premier AsjesWILLEMSTAD – The Prime Minister of Curacao, Ivar Asjes, does not want to waste time discussing the proposed changes to the Dutch passport made by the liberal Member of the Dutch Parliament, Andre Bosman. “We are busy enough, so we’re not wasting time on this kind of ridiculous proposals from a Member of Parliament,” Asjes stated.

The Prime Minister believes that it is better to be working on the progress of Curacao instead of responding to a proposal which does not have any basis at all. According to Asjes, Bosman is just trying to get the attention from the media.

Cooperation Colombia

Asjes spoke during the weekly press conference on various topics. The visit of King Willem Alexander and Maxima was discussed where he accompanied them to Colombia and Venezuela. In Colombia, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in which both countries agree to work together in the fields of tourism, energy, economy and agriculture together.
