Bankruptcy DAE and Dolfijn FM

Court houseWILLEMSTAD – The Court of First Instance of Curaçao on, August 30, 2013, declared the local airline Dutch Antilles Express (DAE) bankrupt.

In another bankruptcy case on Dolfijn FM radio station, parties have reached an agreement.

Two groups of employees have recently requested the bankruptcy of DAE. After treatment, the Court ruled directly. Attorneys Paul van de Laarschot and Mirto Murray were appointed trustees. Mr. A. J. Beukenhorst was appointed as a magistrate.

The two groups of employees were represented by Carrega and Asjes and DAE by Van Hoof and Aardenburg.

The verification meeting also took place in the bankruptcy case of Dolfijn FM radio station. In that case an agreement has been adopted which dictates that a restart of the company is possible. This agreement is subject to approval by the court, this is called the approval of the agreement. The treatment will be on September 13, 2013.

The agreement means that the creditors are paid 100 percent.
