CAP has started with the development of the new Mirador
WILLEMSTAD - Thursday morning Minister Palm (Ministry of Economic Development) and CEO of Curaçao Airport Partners Ralph Blanchard, unveiled the billboard ‘Curaçao Mirador’. The symbolic moment marks the start of the construction of the new public Mirador. Soon the people of Curaçao will have access to a viewing area (Mirador) that is safer, comfortable, with a more pleasant ambience.
Also present at the unveiling were director of Curaçao Airport Holding (CAH) Maurice Adriaens and the Management of Curaçao Airport Partners.
The billboard displays an image of the look and feel of the new Mirador. The new Mirador will develop into a comfortable modern area with much more space to sit and enjoy the spectacular view of arriving and departing planes, protection against the sun and more parking spaces. The Mirador area has a surface area of 335 square meters. CAP invests $300.000 in the Mirador. During the construction work it will not be possible to access the current Mirador. The construction work will continue until March 2015.
