Curaçao soccer team through in the Caribbean Cup

soccer-curacao-fifaWILLEMSTAD - The Curacao National Soccer Team led by Patrick Kluivert is, without playing, on to the next round in the Caribbean Cup.

The team was dependent on the outcome of the last match in group four between the Dominican Republic and Barbados. The Dominican Republic won 2-0. This meant that all the teams in the group had three points. Therefore, it came to the goal difference to see which team would continue to the next round.

Curacao is in the group, in terms of goal difference, on second place and thus continues on. The next game will be played in June. Kluivert's team must compete against Suriname and the winner of the match Puerto Rico - Guyana.
