The press release from the Venezuelan Government reads that from this date (July 25, 2014) transportation by air, meaning passengers, cargo, mail, special transport and general aviation have been suspended immediately. This is valid for the islands of Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Sint Eusatius and Saba.

There are passengers stranded here in Curaçao. Insel Air's spokesman, Edward Heerenveen indicated that they have asked the Venezuelan Government to send an aircraft to pick up those passengers.
