Each political party has now their color and number
WILLEMSTAD – To comply with article 33 of the Electoral Law and Legislation, the Supreme Electoral Council (SEC) held a public meeting on April 3, 2017, at 10 in the morning at the Civil Registrar’s Office to decide the number and color of the political parties for the parliamentary election of 2017.
During this meeting, each party had the opportunity to indicate their name as they want it to appear on the voting ballot.
The sequence on the voting ballot was decided by casting lots. During the public meeting, the President of the SEC announced the number of each of the political parties that will participate in the upcoming election.
