Elections postponed until Wednesday October 5
WILLEMSTAD – The Prime Minister of Curaçao Dr. Bernhard Whiteman just announced in a press conference that the elections will be postponed until next week Wednesday, October 5. This decision was made after consulting with the political parties and also other stakeholders.
As is customary, the government will resign a day before the elections. This was supposed to take place today, but since Curaçao is being confronted with a tropical storm, this will take place next week Tuesday.
