Governor of Falcon, Venezuela eliminates decree that prohibits export of fruits and vegetables to Curaçao

curacao-floating-market-cr-alamyWILLEMSTAD – The General Consulate of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Curaçao announced to the general public, that, according to the recent conversations with representatives of the Falcon State in Venezuela, they were informed that the decree number 40.828 which was published on October 1, 2016, was eliminated. This was ordered by the Governor of that state Mrs. Stella Lugo.

With this decision soon the export of fruits and vegetables to Curaçao will be reestablished.  This is a tradition that has existed for more than 100 years between the two countries as a commercial cooperation.
