MFK remains behind their leader

MFKWILLEMSTAD - The political party Movementu Futuro Kòrsou (MFK) defines the arrest of its founder and political leader Gerrit Schotte and his partner Cicely van der Dijs as regrettable, but claims that it will preserve its faith in their leader.

The MFK stresses that in the judicial system, everyone is innocent until proven guilty before an independent court.

These principles are, according to MFK, in force and they apply to all citizens, and therefore also for Schotte.

“We are confident that everyone will respect and apply these sacred principles. In the past four years, the MFK received inspiration, motivation and hard work of its political leader. This has led to the Reformation movement, which is carried and supported by the people of Curaçao.”

The party is convinced that the absence of Schotte will not last long. In his absence, the MFK will continue to work on Schotte’s vision Schotte.

“We are confident that the allegations against Schotte have no basis, he will be freed, and that justice will prevail. During this process we will give Schotte all the support and we wish him much strength with the support of God.”

The MFK reiterates its solidarity with its political leader, and that it continues to believe that a better Curaçao is possible. The latter is the slogan of Reforma, which is the political reform Schotte stands for.
