National Council of Free zones and Exportation of the Dominican Republic signs agreement with CURINDE

Curinde.jpgWILLEMSTAD, SANTO DOMINGO – The National Council of Free zones and Exportation of the Dominican Republic (CNZFE) and the Curaçao Industry and International Trade Development N.V. (CURINDE) signed a strategic alliance agreement with the objective to develop the effort, strategy and programs to improve the competitiveness and access to the international market.

Luisa Fernandez Duran, Executive Director of the CNZFE and Jacqueline Jansen, Interim Director of CURINDE, signed the agreement. Minister of Economic Development, Stanley Palm, Consul General of the Dominican Republic in Curaçao, Carmen Virginia Cardona de van Riet and Vice Consul of the Dominican Republic in Curaçao, Juan de Dios Bello Medrano were also present during this important event.

The projects that will be realized with this collaboration will allow the parties to establish new mechanisms of technical cooperation to fortify the processes of training for human resources. Also to transfer the technology of production of products and new and more advanced services. It will promote the development of quality standards, just as the promotion of investment in the free zone sectors and companies dedicated to the production of products and services destined for global markets.
