Prime Minister is convinced his government can turn economic challenges into a turning point

RhuggenaathWILLEMSTAD - During his presentation at the Economic Recovery Program, the Prime Minister of Curaçao, Eugene Rhuggenaath indicated that the island is at a crossroads where it is confronted with a couple of challenges, the economic development, but also the financial situation. “But I am convinced that we can convert these challenges into a turning point,” said the Premier.

“As a government, our motivation is to keep investing in reaching our maximum potential. They say 'diamonds are made under pressure', and now is the time, in these challenges we face, to set our best foot forward.”

The Premier indicated that his government is proposing a strategy for revival, investment, reform and growth. But, according to Rhuggenaath, they cannot do it alone. That is why he wishes for all those who were present at the conference, leaders in various sectors of our economy, that at the end they all fully support; a true national partnership where they all can succeed together.

“For together we say, the time has come for our country to realize true growth; social-economic development, sustainable development,” said the Prime Minister.
