Robbie Dos Santos: ‘I didn’t do it’. Lottery boss accuses media of sensation and gossip

Robbie dos SantosWILLEMSTAD – Robertico ‘Robbie’ dos Santos denies emphatically that he had anything to do with the murder of Pueblo Soberano leader, Helmin Wiels. That is what the owner of lottery empire Robbie's Lottery expressed in a press release. In the same letter,  the lottery boss accuses the media of gossip and innuendo and on in that way spread more sensation and even more gossips.

“It's incredible how certain media in a very subtle way, violating all rules of decency, and without facts and separating objectivity from sensation, create gossip. In this way,  for questionable and political reasons, emotions are generated which serve to discredit one person,”  Dos Santos writes in his press release. “I refer the way in which the media seeks to connect my lottery sales via SMS and the death of Helmin together.”

In the days before the death of Wiels last Sunday, the politician of Pueblo Soberano named several times the name of Dos Santos. According to the political leader is the lottery sales of Robbie's Lottery via SMS "Illegal" and he had the necessary documents to prove this.

Some established a link between the liquidation of Wiels, by which the parliamentarian was shot several times apparently professional in the back, and his accusations of illegality and corruption to the address of Dos Santos and UTS, the telecommunications company that makes the lottery sales via SMS possible.

“Rational and professional reporting is replaced by insinuations without basis, only with the goal of spreading rumors and the desire to satisfy sensation.  Meanwhile the life and image of others are influenced in a negative way. The truth and reality associated with gossip and fantasy, where space is left open so that everyone can fill it with its own details so the lottery boss.”
