United: ‘No knowledge of payment’

unitedtrustWILLEMSTAD - United Trust knows nothing of a payment made to former director of SNS Property Finance, Buck G.. This was confirmed by United Director, Gregory Elias to the Dutch morning newspaper Antilliaans Dagblad.

The payment would have been made by the Company Buccaneer Bay Capital, which is managed by United Trust. De Telegraaf  reported yesterday that Buccaneer Bay Capital transferred 174,564 euros to the private company Consus Services of Buck G. The newspaper relied on information from an internal integrity examination of SNS as part of the criminal file in the SNS-fraud.

Elias says that Peter G. the "beneficial owner" is of Buccaneer Bay Capital. Peter G. was the third arrest in the SNS-fraud a few weeks ago. This happened after Buck G. and his secretary were arrested in February. The Public Prosecutor in the Netherlands suspect them of committing fraud in an organized manner in the real estate branch.

Previously there was a raid at Consus Services, the company from which, among other Buccaneer Bay Capital transferred money. This week, the investigation into the fraud extended to Curacao. For example, there was a raid at Orco Bank, where Buck G. worked as an advisor for years.

Also information was requested at United Trust. The files of Buccaneer Bay Capital were thereby seized, Elias confirms. Elias also stated that Buck G. is not an advisor not a client of United.
