Venezuela holding talks to discuss reopening air traffic with ABC Islands

Venezuela_INACCARACAS - According to the Aruban news site NoticiaCla, the government of Venezuela has started with talks internally to discuss the situation of the border closure between their country and the ABC Islands, Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.

This meeting took place yesterday under the instruction of the President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro, says NoticiaCla. Government officials met with representatives of the Venezuelan civil aviation authority INAC and the affected airlines.

The objective of the meeting was to reestablish the areal connection with Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao in the framework of the so-called great mission sovereign provision of the country.

The results of that meeting are not yet known.
