25 Bills approved

WILLEMSTAD - The parliament of Curaçao has between 10 October 2010 and September 10, 2012 handled thirty  bills, of which there are actually 25 approved. This was announced by Ivar Asjes, which during this period, was the President of Parliament.

In addition, there are six legislative proposals, of which only 80/20-arrangement was debated publicly and approved, " according to Asjes yesterday afternoon in Parliament where the press conference was held. There he indicated that a folder was created in which a summary is given of the work that the Government has done the past 22 months. This folder will be spread from house to house.

In total there are 57 public meetings held in which 59 motions were treated. Of these, 36 were adopted, of which 16 are unanimous. There were also 77 Central Committee meetings. Seniors Convent came Nine times together, which means all political party leaders in Parliament. The permanent and temporary committee and the committee for domestic affairs met on 113 occasions. The parliament has served as the home of the people and we have always shown ear for the needs of the people, " according to Asjes.
