52 Royal medals in the Dutch Caribbean

CondecorationsWILLEMSTAD - This year, on the occasion of King's day, a total of 3155 Royal Medals were awarded to outstanding citizens in the Dutch Kingdom. In the Order of the Dutch Lion there were 15 individuals who received this honor. In the Order of Orange-Nassau there were 3,140 people awarded. 52 people received a royal medal in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom (Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba).

These individuals were awarded in Curacao:

Mrs. Dr. C.M.G.M. Narain was appointed Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau for her work as a linguist. Furthermore, the following people were appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau:
