Asjes pays a working visit to St. Maarten
WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Ivar Asjes will be from January 11 to 13 in Sint Maarten for an official working visit. Marcel Gumbs was recently sworn in as the Prime Minister of Sint Maarten, four months after the parliamentary elections were held. The UP party headed by Theo Heyliger came out as the biggest political party on the island.
Premier Asjes will also visit the Governor of Sint Maarten, H.E. Eugene Holiday.
He will also meet with Lloyd Richardson, the new President of the Parliament. He is accompanied by Minister Etienne van der Horst of Administration, Planning and Services.
