Asjes shifts Parliament meetings

WILLEMSTAD – President of Parliament Ivar Asjes makes a new attempt to have four public parliamentary meetings continue and have scheduled them in two weeks. This week the meetings were canceled because a majority in Parliament did not show up.

On Monday, September 17, the Central Committee meeting will have the Analytically Diagnostic Center (ADC) on the agenda. Demissionary Minister Jacinta Constancia Scoop (Health) is expected at the meeting, which will focus on the financial and organizational problems within the ADC.

The next day, demissionary Minister of Economic Development Nasser el Hakim will report to the committee on Curaçao Port Authority (CPA). Wednesday, September 19 the Committee will deal with the point brought forth by Pueblo Soberano, "the healthy financial start position of Curaçao, and Thursday September 20, Minister Scoop-Constancia will appear in front of the Committee again to talk about basic insurance. On Friday, September 21,  the Association of Traffic Safety Curacao and Banda Bou Platform will present the problems on traffic safety.
