Asjes will travel along with Royal couple to neighboring countries

Dutch King Willem-Alexander and his wife Queen Maxima arrive at the Nieuwe Kerk church in AmsterdamWILLEMSTAD, THE HAGUE - King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima will visit the two largest neighboring countries, Venezuela and Colombia, of the Dutch Kingdom after their visit to the Dutch Caribbean in November. This was confirmed by the Government Information Service in The Hague. Prime Minister of Curacao will travel with them.

The Royal couple will also be accompanied by the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, Frans Timmermans, Prime Minister of Aruba, Mike Eman, Prime Minister of Curacao, Ivar Asjes and Prime Minister of Sint Maarten, Sarah Wescot-Williams.


The King and Queen will be received in Colombia by the President of the Republic, Juan Manuel Santos. In Venezuela they will be received in the capital of the Republic by President Nicolas Maduro.
