Central Bank still in the red zone

WILLEMSTAD - The problems within the cooperation between Curaçao and St. Maarten at the Central Bank are not over yet.

The wish list which both Prime Ministers have turned in when they were in the Hague has made a good start, but by September 1 the bank must regain the financial monitoring role it has on both Government. Netherlands has reported that the two countries agreed not to argue anymore, which is not beneficial for the monitoring role the bank has. Premier Schotte is currently on St. Maarten to re-consult.
