Cooper: ‘Tromp must go’

DICK_9448-500x399WILLEMSTAD - While the Bar Association met at the Avila Hotel, a demonstration took place at the front door of the hotel. Member of Parliament for MAN, Charles Cooper was also among the protesters. He claims to have a list with people who have to go.

The demonstrators were rounded up by Eldon Peppie ' Sulvaran, the lawyer who is likely to be suspended by the Bar Association.

While it was decided to maintain the complaint against Sulvaran and the resignation of the Dean Caroline Fievez from her position, several speakers shared their own agenda outside. Because of the bustle the street had to be temporarily closed off.  Among those present were former Prime Minister Gerrit Schotte and MP Amerigo Thode (both MFK), Cooper, president of the police union SAP, Marco Laclé and union leader Kenneth Valpoort.

Cooper is tired of the system. Favièz should be the first to leave be according to him, then the director of the Central Bank Emsley Tromp. The list is long, according to the former leader of the MAN. However, he did not say anything about who else has managed to secure a place on his list. “The fire becomes bigger natural,” says Cooper.
