Cordoba: “We must prepare for new local doctors”
WILLEMSTAD – According to the political leader of the ruling party Pueblo Soberano (PS), Jaime Cordoba, this year the first special group of students who attended college in Costa Rica will complete their studies. “About thirty of forty doctors will return. We have to prepare ourselves for their return.”

The Member of Parliament for the PS party also spoke about worrying developments in recent years, including cartels which keep drug prices high. “We are determined to put an end to these types of games in healthcare,” said the PS leader.
He also said that medical specialists have been doing things their own way for years and that he will bring and end to that. Regarding the shortage in medical specialists, Cordoba said that eight or nine specialists were recruited to come to the island soon. “However, we need more specialists.
