Council for Law Enforcement visits Prime Minister

Council for Law EnforcementWILLEMSTAD – The Council for Law Enforcement (RvRH) visited Prime Minister Ivar Asjes. The Prime Minister received an explanation on inspection reports recently released by the Council’s Board.

The Board was established three years ago by Kingdom decree and its task is to inspect organizations within the justice system of Curaçao, Sint Maarten and the BES islands (prosecution, police, prison and probation).

Reports of the Board will be formally presented to the Minister of Justice who will present this to Parliament and the Lower House in the Dutch Parliament. The reports of the Board are published on the website of the RvRH.
