Curaçao and the Netherlands organize Bon Bini for Business

WillemstadWILLEMSTAD - To stimulate more investments from the Netherlands in Curaçao, an investment conference was organized on the initiative of Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte. The conference titled 'Bon biní for Business' takes place on June 21 in The Hague.

The government stated in a press release that Curaçao offers enormous opportunities for investment in various sectors. This statement is also the starting point of the conference. "The strength and potential of Curaçao as an investment destination is enormous and with this conference Curaçao wants to show the range of opportunities to the Dutch business community and indicate that this is the most opportune moment to take action."

During the one-day conference, discussions are being held on ways to stimulate mutual activity between Curaçao and the Netherlands, also in order to promote sustainable economic growth in Curaçao. The goal is to discuss how concrete business and trading opportunities in the Kingdom can be stimulated and facilitated. Especially for this purpose, various Curaçao companies, including Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA), Damen Shipyards, Aqualectra, Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), Cinex and the Curaçao Dock Company (CDM) were invited to give presentations and hold interactive network sessions. These companies represent, among others, the maritime sector, tourist sector and sustainable energy sector on Curaçao.

The conference in The Hague is called the 'kick off' for a next investment conference, which will have to take place later on Curaçao.
