Davelaar: Government is not being controlled

WILLEMSTAD - The current demissionary government are appointing people to different key positions without being controlled by parliament. That is according to PNP leader Humphrey Davelaar. The parliamentarian thinks that the current government  is not handling just current affairs and for that reason he’s in favor of an interim government.

"There are no more meetings called, so the parliament lost its controlling function and nobody knows what the government is doing," said Davelaar. "The PNP leader expected a response from Governor Frits Goedgedrag before next Sunday. Davelaar did speak with the Governor last Sunday and he was told that the Governor should have an answer within a week.
