Doubt if Interparliamentary Kingdom Conference should continue this year
WILLEMSTAD - There is uncertainty about the continuation of the Inter-Parliamentary Consultation Kingdom late next month.
The reason for the doubts is the elections in Curacao on April 28. On May 11 the new Parliament should be installed, and the fractions in the following weeks will designate members of the various standing committees. Only then it becomes clear which Members of Parliament will move up to a ministerial post.
The Dutch delegation has already hinted too reluctant to let the interparliamentary dialogue continue if not all countries are ready to participate.
