Dutch Minister: “Curacao, Aruba and Sint Maarten have to do more against Zika”

edith-schippers-THE HAGUE, WILLEMSTAD – The Dutch Minister of Public Health, Edith Schippers calls on Curaçao, Sint Maarten and Aruba to do more to prevent the spread of the Zika virus.

According to the minister Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius meet various international standards, but the independent countries have to Curaçao, Sint Maarten and Aruba are not up to that point yet.

In Curaçao the first person who contracted the virus locally was registered recently.
