Employees Capriles Clinic fear for their jobs
WILLEMSTAD – The employees of the Capriles Clinic is going through an uncertainty about their jobs. In a statement to the media, the union representing the employees, ABVO indicated that if the government does not adjust the tariffs for the services offered by the clinic it could result in the loss of jobs.
“Since last year the employees showed their discontent with the government for their lack of attention to the clinic,” said Wilson.
During that time Minister Whiteman promised us that he will request a financial scan of the clinic. The scan concluded that there was nothing particular with the financial situation, but it showed that the government must adjust the tariffs for the clinic to survive.
“The employees just want to know from the government what it will do with this situation of adjusting the tariffs. It’s not now. The clinic has been going through difficult times for quite a while now. This has consequences and could mean the loss of jobs for these employees,” said Wilson.
The employees question that there are other organizations offering the same services as they do, but receive more payment from the government.
